The Israeli organization is a nonprofit organization (registered Israeli association)founded in 2008, following the close collaboration with the parallel American organization in the state of Colorado.
The Israeli organizations engages in local and international projects in sustainable development and works with developing communities to improve their quality of life through implementing different technologies, as well as community member training and empowerment programs. In many cases the offered solutions are of major influence on the quality of life of the communities in which the organization collaborates with.

 

The members of the organization are students and professionals in different fields of engineering, architecture, economy, environment, health, culture, education and society. The projects are done in full cooperation with the community and local organizations, to empower the community members and existing leadership and bring awareness to environmental issues. The implemented technologies are simple, relatively cheap and easy to run and maintain. Cooperation with the communities is long term, in order to guarantee the success of the projects over time.

 

The Israeli organization is part of the international ray under the main mother organization and collaborates with different groups as well as differentorganizations. As of today, there are four active branches of the organization:Technion (Haifa), Ben-Gurion university (Beer Sheva), Tel Aviv university, and the faculty of agriculture in Rehovot. There are also initial activities in the Technological institute in Holon and Ort Brauda Collage. The organization’s nation wide infrastructure accompanies the founding of new branches, and helps theorganization grow and operate in Israel.
