The EWB Tel Aviv University branch was founded in the year 2011. The branch today is focusing on two major project, and has ~20 members, from various fields. such as Engineering, Economics, Managment and more.

Potable Drinking Water and Solar Energy for the People of Minjingu
The children of the village Minjingu, in northeren Tanzania are innocent victims of contaminated water. The drinking water which they consume contains high amounts of Flouride. These amounts of Flouride cause disabilities and severe bone deformations. These children live without hope, and often in shame and alienation in their community, without any proper treatment nor respect.

The TAU chapter is active since 2011. Different projects were made during the years. The second active project of TAU chapter is "Project AT", which involves planning and creating different aids and technological systems for those in need.
Team AT works inside Israel, with different NGO's. The major partner for this team is GoBabyGo-Israel. We collaborated with them to modify and adapt motorized cars for young kids with special needs (visit their website!).
In the last year we also started a project with Maon Neurim, in order to develop various kinds of device to help the daily routines of the adults living in there.
