EWB Technion Chapter was established in 2008, starting a Biogas project in Namsaling, Nepal. Today, about 50 students are active in 5 groups in different engineering projects. Professionals and students of all fields, wishing to contribute, are welcome to join us.

Wind Group

The wind group is building wind turbines and partnering with communities in Israel to increase the education towards renewable energy. 

Ethiopia Group

The Ethiopia Group is collaborating with the community of Meskele Kristos village, and is working to supply clean water to the school in the village.

Negev Group

The Negev group is partnering with the community of Um Etna'an to find a simple and sustainable solution for solar heating in village's kindergartens.

Bio-Gas Group

The first EWB Technion group, partnering with the community of Namsaling, Nepal. The group is building bio-gas reactors and surveying the impact on the life in the village.
