Engineers Without Borders Israel Association is working to improve the quality of life of the population in Israel and the populations of developing countries around the world through environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects. The organization strives to improve the quality of life in the communities through implementation of sustainable technologies and providing training and education programs to the community, while empowering local leadership. EWB Israel is part of Engineers Without Borders International association, and collaborating with other organizations in Israel and abroad.

Alcoa Foundation awards grant to EWB Israel – Technion Chapter to promote best practices in engineering for the developing world. EWB Israel – Technion Chapter will utilize its funding to support the EDC – Engineering for Developing Communities Summer Program 2016.
